The Department of Theatre will have a course in Ballet and Musical Theatre Dance (THEA 2840) at the Telfair Peet Theatre Dance Studio during the second mini-semester June 3-Aug. 4, Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Participants will get three credit hours; no prerequisite is required. The instructor will be Judith Nelson, associate professor of theatre. She has been a professional dancer, choreographer, actor and teacher for more than 25 years, working in musical theatre and dance companies in New York, Los Angeles and around the U.S. and Europe. Take a break before finals start and come experience AU's new challenge course. The high ropes course will be open to Auburn students from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30. The course offers a variety of elements including a zip line and lily pads. Interested students will need a current Auburn University ID in order to participate.
