Department of Theatre offering course in Ballet and Musical Theatre Dance

The Department of Theatre will have a course in Ballet and Musical Theatre Dance (THEA 2840) at the Telfair Peet Theatre Dance Studio during the second mini-semester June 3-Aug. 4, Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Participants will get three credit hours; no prerequisite is required. The instructor will be Judith Nelson, associate professor of theatre. She has been a professional dancer, choreographer, actor and teacher for more than 25 years, working in musical theatre and dance companies in New York, Los Angeles and around the U.S. and Europe. AU Challenge Course offers free afternoon on Wednesday, April 30

Take a break before finals start and come experience AU's new challenge course. The high ropes course will be open to Auburn students from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30. The course offers a variety of elements including a zip line and lily pads. Interested students will need a current Auburn University ID in order to participate. Space is limited and is available on a first come first serve basis. Please e-mail Laura Herring, AU Challenge Course Program Advisor, herrilm@auburn.edu to reserve your spot and receive directions.
