SGA and UPC host Presidential Debate broadcast and Q & A

The CBS broadcast of the Presidential Debate is being aired by SGA and UPC and followed by a question and answer session on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 8 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. This event is open to students, faculty and the public. The event is free and light snacks and refreshments will be served. After the debate is aired, students will have a chance to ask a panel of professors and student political leaders questions concerning the election.

UPC presents Song Writing Contest today

The University Program Council presents a Song Writing Contest at 6 p.m. today on the Foy Student Union lawn. Student singer/songwriters apply to compete with their original songs for cash prizes. There will be free pizza for all in attendance. For more information, call 844-4292.

University Program Council and Auburn Athletics presenting stadium movie

The University Program Council and Auburn Athletics will present a free stadium movie, "Live Free or Die Hard," Tuesday, April 22. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 8 p.m. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Everyone must enter through gate nine. A current Auburn University ID is required to enter. Students will receive a concession ticket upon entrance into the stadium. This ticket allows students to receive one box of popcorn, coke and candy of choice. Bring a blanket to sit on the field.
