I concur with Mr. Jameson. How about more parking agrages ect. You can use the grounds where the old colleseum is located or other areas not being currently used.

Seriously, Auburn has very deficient people allocating our money. Personally, I agree with the expenditure of an MRI machine, but almost all of Auburns’ money is wasted on looks and uselessness. They should become a lot more conservative on how to spend money and spend it only in things that are needed. We DON’T NEED A ROCK CLIMBING WALL. They are getting rid of our parking spaces and making tickets more expensive. Auburns administration lacks monetary discipline.

I agree. You can’t enroll more students and get rid of the sparse parking that is always full.

I think they are reducing parking on purpose guys. If you go to any other university, far less people even bring their cars. More people around here need to use the transit, or god forbid you could walk somewhere… although it may kill you. If you live too far out to walk, maybe you should rethink your living arrangements. I’d rather AU gives me quality facilities instead of a bunch of parking spaces.

Guys, they are in the planning for more parking. And as far as spending money on appearances, that plays a HUGE role in recruiting, not only for Student atheletes but also for people they are trying to get for their academics. Auburn University has one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation. I have attended and have many friends who have attended many other Universities in the south and north east and all have agreed Auburn puts more effort into doing things for the students than most campuses. Parking, I agree is an issue but you can only do one thing at a time. I would rather them spend money on medical reseach than parking. That is just my opinion and like you guys everyone should have one. I think that they (administration) are by no means perfect, but they are doing a dang good job. Hope you guys have a great day! I believe in Auburn and LOVE it!

Yes henry exactly. Most living spaces are less than half a mile from Campus. Me and my friends walk or Bike. It not only saves money, but it is HEALTHY. They still need to work on parking but I am not going to get frustrated with them any time soon.

oh and why can’t we have the rock climbing wall, or the AUsome new basketball arena and student center. Auburn University caters to the students. We are the future of this world and as everyone knows college is a stressfull enviroment. Things like the rock climbing wall and the Goo goo dolls concert that is FREE to student helps cope with the stress levels involved with finals, and more importantly it helps build relationships that will last forever. I think that it is a very corny commercial, but when you run in to someone overseas or accross the U.S.A. and exchange a War Eagle it is something truly special and unique. Hope you guys reconsider a few things.

More on topic, the MRI research center, a multidisciplinary facility, will really be a great addition to all that AU already has to offer. Hopefully, we can soon produce valuable information in areas like medical research and neuroscience. A big step forward for AU!
