Retired U.S. Marine Commandant Mundy speaking at Auburn University
Retired Gen. Carl Mundy, the 30th Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, will address Auburn University's Naval ROTC unit at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, in 125A Lowder Business Building. The presentation is open to the public. Mundy graduated from Auburn in 1957 with a degree in business administration and in 2007 he received the Auburn Alumni Association's Lifetime Achievement Award. Mundy served on active duty for 38 years, retiring in 1995. He was Commandant of the Marine Corps and a member the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1991 to 1995. He received 17 personal decorations and 10 unit and general service awards for his military service. For more information, read the news release.

I am writing a novel and part of it takes place in Vietnam during the war in a series of flashbacks. I would like to ask if you or someone you know could answer a few questions that I have on the accuracy of my writing.
