Argentina study tour open to all Auburn undergrads

argentinaPlans are in the works for a 15-day College of Agriculture study abroad tour of Argentina during spring semester 2010, and undergraduates campus-wide are invited to be a part of it. The tour will focus on Argentine agriculture, particularly the agribusiness aspect, and will include visits to major corporations including Cargill, Monsanto/Pioneer, JBS Swift Armour and John Deere, as well as a couple of wineries. Participating students who register for AGRI 4000, agriculture study tour, for spring semester will earn three credit hours for the trip. Interested students can learn more about the tour by attending an organizational meeting Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. in 109 Comer Hall, or by contacting agricultural economics professor Walt Prevatt, tour organizer, at prevajw@auburn.edu or 844-5608.
