Search begins for new College of Sciences and Mathematics dean
Dean Stewart Schneller recently announced his decision to step down as dean of the College of Sciences and Mathematics beginning with the fall semester 2010. At that time, he will assume his role as professor of chemistry and biochemistry. As a consequence of this change, Provost Mary Ellen Mazey is inviting students, faculty, staff, alumni and community partners of COSAM to contribute ideas to the search for a new dean. For this purpose, Provost Mazey will moderate a college-wide forum Monday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m.-noon in the Student Center, ballroom B.
