The Alabama Cooperative Extension System will offer an Heir Property Video Conference on Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 9-11:30 a.m. Craig Baab of Alabama Appleseed Center for Law and Justice will be speaking on the benefits and risks of heir property ownership, factors that contribute to land loss and resources to help families manage and protect their land. Decision making and protection of heir property can be difficult for families due to legal issues and ownership by several individuals. Conference participants may attend at locations around the state, including 112 Duncan Hall at Auburn University; view it through an ACESAG IP Polycom, number 6413; or by connecting from a desktop computer at this link.
