Poultry faculty, students win awards at PSA
Several members of the Department of Poultry Science received awards at the Poultry Science Association's annual meeting held recently in North Carolina. Professor Pat Curtis received the Phibro Extension Award and professors Ed Moran and David Roland were both inducted as PSA fellows. Moran's former graduate student, Nancy Joseph, was awarded the PSA Early Achievement Award for Industry. Associate professor Wallace Berry's current doctoral student, Lindsay Stevenson, won the Maurice Stein Fellowship Award. For more information go to www.poultryscience.org/awards2009.asp. In addition to these awards, Jessica C. Butler, a current doctoral student working with Curtis, was elected as a student representative to the PSA board of directors.

As far as me being a member here, I wasn’t aware that I was a member for any days, actually. When the article was published I received a notification, so that I could participate in the discussion of the post, so perhaps that is it. But we’re certainly all members in the world of ideas.
