runnersThe Auburn University community is encouraged to participate in the second annual Jean Dean Reading is Fundamental's Run to Read on Saturday, Oct. 3. Activities start early with a 5K Run to Read. Registration opens at 7 a.m.  A one-mile Family Fun Walk starts at 8 a.m. and the Run to Read starts at 8:30 p.m.  The Auburn University women's gymnastics team and Aubie will be there along with Mayor Fuller, Clifford the Big Red Dog and more.  Funds raised will help put books in the hands and homes of thousands of at-risk children. For online registration, please visit www.jeandeanrif.org. Everyone registered is entered into a drawing for one-week vacation in the North Carolina mountains and winners do not have to be present at the event to claim their prize if drawn.

Hello fellow Auburn alums and current Auburn students. We hope you will register and support the Run or the Walk. Lots of at-risk young children will benefit and AU SPIRIT POINTS will be awarded too!!
