Auburn University Medical Clinic providing flu vaccination clinics for students and employees
The Auburn University Medical Clinic will be holding seasonal flu vaccination clinics on Monday, Sept. 14, and Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 7:45 a.m. - 1 p.m. Vaccines will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The cost is $25, and cash or check is accepted. There will be no direct cost to Auburn University employees covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, as the clinic will file for reimbursement directly. While this vaccine is not expected to protect against the 2009 H1N1 flu, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that the usual seasonal influenza viruses are still expected to cause illness this fall and winter. Individuals are encouraged to get their seasonal flu vaccine early.

My name is Amanda Taylor and I am a student at Auburn University and was wondering if I had to pay the $25.00 fee to get the Flu vaccine. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance (PEEHIP). If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at (256) 750-0086 or alt0012@auburn.edu.
Thanks in advance,
Amanda Taylor
