Auburn Soccer invites student groups to compete in tailgate challenge

soccerStudent organizations are invited to compete in a tailgate competition this Friday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. as the Tigers host Dayton at the Auburn University Soccer Complex. The winning organization will receive 100 Spirit Points and a tailgate package valued at over $500. The tailgate package will include a gas grill, pop-up tent, chairs, cooler and more. Each tailgate must be completely set-up by 6 p.m. and will be judged based on group attendance, Auburn spirit, food, creativity and fan participation. Grass tailgate spots outside the soccer complex will be first-come, first-served, and the winning group will be announced at halftime. Student organizations must be officially registered through SGA to participate. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. For more information or if you have questions, please e-mail Auburn Sports Marketing at markets@auburn.edu.
