Nominations sought for Minority Achievement Award

alumassociaton_logoThe Auburn Alumni Association is seeking nominations for its annual Minority Achievement Award recognizing outstanding contributions toward the advancement and inclusiveness of minorities at Auburn University. The award honors an individual of any race or ethnic background whose efforts have attracted minority students to Auburn and/or whose efforts have contributed to the success, retention and graduation rates of minority students at Auburn. Additionally, this award honors an individual who has contributed to improved race relations and fostered a sense of community within the university. The recipient receives a $1,000 stipend and will be recognized at Auburn's faculty awards ceremony this fall. Nomination packets may be submitted by any department, institute, college or individual.
