Athletic Department staff recently held Community Service Day
Auburn University Athletic Department coaches, administrators and staff members traded a day in the office for a day of community service in Auburn and Opelika recently. Nearly 200 Athletic Department staff members participated in the inaugural "Tigers Give Back" community service day. Athletic Director Jay Jacobs said the department decided it was time to give back and support Auburn student-athletes who frequently reach out through community service. Athletic staff members fanned out to agencies such as the Boys and Girls Club of Lee County and the East Alabama Food Bank, local schools, nursing homes and other agencies for the day of community service.
