Update on new Village housing
Because of the excitement surrounding the opening of the new Village housing this fall, parents and students are asking whether all of the buildings will be ready for occupancy. Auburn University Housing and Residence Life anticipates having six of the eight buildings ready for occupancy when check-ins begin for fall. Housing officials are hopeful that the remaining two buildings will be ready for occupancy as well, but should there be a delay, temporary accommodations will be provided for the students who will be living in those two buildings. Any delay should last no more than a month, and assistance will be provided when these students make the move from their temporary accommodations to their assigned residence hall. More specific information will be communicated to the students assigned to these two buildings when they receive their housing assignment packets in early June.
