It's almost here: a new season of college football and the Auburn Tigers' annual A-Day spring exhibition game--the first under head coach Gene Chizik. Plan now to join friends and former classmates from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. April 18 at the Auburn Alumni Association's third annual MAIN (Minority Alumni Involvement Now) A-Day Tailgate. This popular family event features chicken-and-ribs barbecue, games with prizes, the opportunity to meet Auburn's Alumni PLUS scholars--a group of minority students that represents the best of Auburn's student body--plus the chance to give to the PLUS scholarship fund. Located near Jordan-Hare Stadium's western entrance on the William F. Nichols Center lawn, the celebration is brought to you by the Office of Alumni Affairs with generous sponsorship by the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs. Tickets are $15 prior to the event ($18 at the door) for adults and $7 for children ages 5 to 12 ($10 at the door). The Student Alumni Association (SAA) and the Auburn University Parents' Association (AUPA) are hosting an A-Day fish fry buffet with all the trimmings for association members and guests.
