Events planned recognizing April as National Sexual Assault Awareness Month
On April 13 and 14, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Safe Harbor staff and volunteers will be on the Cater lawn promoting The Red Flag Campaign to provide educational material about dating violence and unhealthy relationships. A display of 200 small red flags will be a reminder to watch for "red flags" in one's own or their friends' relationships. For more information, visit www.TheRedFlagCampaign.org. On Tuesday, April 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Foy Hall Ballroom, Heather May's Fundamentals of Directing class will present “Scenes Not Screams,” an evening of short scenes to kick off the annual Clothes Line Project (CLP) and Take Back the Night (TBTN) events. Admission to this event is free and free pizza will be served. The CLP and TBTN events on April 15 and 16 on Cater Lawn will bring awareness to the issue of sexual assault and related crimes. These events provide a venue for survivors and/or their friends to have a voice by painting a T-shirt to display on the clothesline each day from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. or by sharing their story at the TBTN march and rally. The CLP will exhibit several hundred painted T-Shirts. The events will culminate on April 16 with a TBTN march in town beginning at 6 p.m. and a rally on the Cater Lawn at 7 p.m. Attendance vouchers will be available to students attending the events at the end of both the TBTN rally and the theatre production as well. These events are sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts, Safe Harbor and The Women's Resource Center. Other participants include Heather May's Fundamentals of Directing class in the theater department and Chichi Lovett's ARTS 3010 Class in the art department. For information or to volunteer, call 844-4452.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

A lot of thanks for all of your work on this site. My niece delights in working on internet research and it’s simple to grasp why. A lot of people hear all about the dynamic means you create sensible suggestions on this web site and in addition improve contribution from visitors on this matter and our favorite child is in fact starting to learn a lot of things. Have fun with the remaining portion of the year. You are performing a fabulous job.
