Starry Nights astronomy program taking place Saturday
The Starry Nights astronomy program will take place Saturday, March 28, at 7 p.m. at the Mary Olive Thomas Demonstration Forest on Moore's Mill Road (from Auburn, one mile on left past the Ogletree Shopping Village). Join the Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve staff and the Auburn Astronomical Society for a night under the stars. Enjoy a short program on stars, planets and telescopes, a space movie, constellation laser show, high-powered telescopes and some out-of-this-world snacks. Admission is $3 for non-members and $2 for members. Not recommended for children under 5. Bring a flashlight; red cellophane will be available.
