Horseman’s Club to sponsor St. Jude Fundraising Ride
Horseback riders campuswide have the opportunity to ride for a worthy cause Saturday, March 28, when the Auburn University Horseman's Club hosts "Saddle Up for St. Jude." Riders who participate in the two-hour outing, the route for which is being finalized, will either enlist sponsors or sponsor themselves, with all proceeds going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. In addition to riders, the club also is looking for area rental stables and horse owners who would be willing to provide loaner horses for individuals who want to participate in the ride but don't have horses boarded in or near Auburn. All students, faculty and staff interested in signing up for the event or providing loaner horses can contact club president Shelby Million at svm0001@auburn.edu.
