Veterinary Business Management Association receives national accolades
Auburn's chapter of the Veterinary Business Management Association received honors at the national meeting in Orlando in January. In three short years since forming, the Auburn chapter was selected as the third most active chapter for 2008, and past chapter president Lisa Jividen-Cottrell was appointed to a national position as a 2009 regional leader. The association is a student-driven organization dedicated to advancing the profession through increasing business knowledge, creating networking opportunities and empowering students to achieve their personal and professional goals. There are 28 chapters at veterinary schools across the country, three international chapters and more than 2,600 student members.
