Sophos Selected as Auburn’s anti-virus solution
The enormity and complexity of virus and malware threats to computer end-users have changed dramatically since McAfee was chosen as the anti-virus solution for the University in 2001. A team of technology experts from across campus were charged with evaluating current anti-virus solutions to determine which is now best for Auburn. Based on this evaluation, Sophos has been selected as the university's anti-virus solution, beginning this month.
