Department of English announces poetry contest
The Auburn University Department of English, in the College of Liberal Arts, is pleased to announce its annual Robert Hughes Mount, Jr. Poetry Prize. Sponsored by the Academy of American Poets and endowed by Mrs. Frances Mayes, the contest offers a $100 prize and a year's membership in the Academy of American Poets for the Auburn University student submitting the best poem. Graduate or undergraduate students may submit up to three poems to Jeremy Downes' mailbox in the English Department, 9030 Haley Center. The contest deadline is March 2. Submission guidelines require a cover sheet with contact information (no identification on poems), three poems maximum, and no electronic submissions. The winner will be announced at the English Department's Spring Awards Ceremony in late April. Questions about the contest should be directed to the Poetry Prize Coordinator, Jeremy M. Downes, at 844-9040 or downejm@auburn.edu. For more information about the Academy of American Poets, visit www.poets.org.

My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
