Roundtable focuses on taxes and the economy under the new president

The College of Human Sciences' Women's Philanthropy Board will host a roundtable discussion focusing on "Taxes and the Economy with the new Presidential Administration" featuring Susan Moore, president of Moore Wealth Management. The Dutch treat luncheon will be held at noon Friday, Dec. 5, in the private dining room of Ariccia Restaurant in The Hotel at Auburn University. Information will be provided to help you gain a better understanding of possible changes in the tax code under President-elect Barack Obama. Moore has worked as a financial planner and stockbroker for Wall Street Investment firms for nearly 25 years. In 1991, she started her own practice by opening her own office in Alexander City, affiliating with the independent broker dealer, Raymond James Financial Services. In 2006, she adopted the name Moore Wealth Management Inc. for her practice when she changed her independent broker dealer affiliation to Linsco/Private Ledger, the largest independent broker dealer in the country. For the past 15 years, Moore has participated in a weekly radio show called "The Comfort Zone," which airs Tuesday mornings at 8:15 a.m. and can be listened to on the Internet at www.1300WTLS.com. Seating for the event is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For reservations, contact Sidney James Nakhjavan at 844-9199 or wpbchs1@auburn.edu.
