The Lee County Literacy Coalition seeks prospective tutors

The Lee County Literacy Coalition is seeking volunteer tutors. The coalition offers tutoring in reading for school children and adults Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the True Deliverance Holiness Church on North Donahue Drive. The GED preparation program at Greater Peace Baptist Church, 650 Jeter Street in Opelika, is also seeking tutors. The program meets Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It is not necessary that you volunteer for all days or for the entire session. Any day that you can tutor for at least an hour is helpful. For more information or to volunteer, call 705-0001 or visit http://www.leecountyliteracy.org/.

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is needed to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% positive. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
