United States Sportmen’s Alliance president addressing Houndsmen’s Club
The Auburn University Houndsmen's Club will welcome guest speaker Bud Pidgeon, president and CEO of the United States Sportsmen's Alliance, to campus at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, in 2217 Forestry and Wildlife Sciences Building. The United States Sportsmen's Alliance is a national organization devoted to protecting the rights of hunters, fishermen and those who have a vested interested in enjoying the outdoors. The alliance is home to the Sporting Dog Defense Coalition, a nationwide organization of dog clubs and individual houndsmen in regular contact with state and federal legislators in an effort to prevent the passage of laws that would threaten or eliminate hunting with hounds.
