Houndsmen’s Club promotes sporting hounds
The Auburn University Houndsmen's Club invites alumni, faculty, staff, students and members of the community to attend this Thursday's club meeting at 7 p.m. in room 2217 of the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences Building. The club is a newly formed student organization interested in fostering understanding and appreciation for sporting hounds of all types. Topics of interest to the Houndsmen include but are not limited to: discussion and demonstration of distinguishing breed characteristics, the science of scenting, training techniques, working in packs and safety in the field. Join the Houndsmen as they seek to celebrate and advance the athleticism, work ethic and tracking skills of these remarkable dogs.
