Well-known Chinese artists performing Chinese musical drama “Sister Liu”

A group of 27 nationally acclaimed artists from Guangxi, China, will be performing their fingerprint show known as "Sister Liu" on Friday, June 13 at the Foy Ballroom. This classic Chinese Folks Musical Drama is based on a well-known love story of an ethnic (Zhuang) minority in Southern China. Singing is a traditional way for young Zhuang people to communicate, show their talents and to express their feelings of love. This event is organized by the Auburn University Chinese Professional Association (AUCPA) and the AU Chinese Students and Scholars Organization (CSO), and is sponsored by the Auburn University Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs (ODMA). Tickets are $5 for Auburn University students and employees with valid ID, $15 for general public and free for children 10 years and younger. Tickets will be on sale from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (June 4-6) inside the Mell St. entrance of Ralph Draughon Library (at the lobby of second floor).
