Abdullah named director of Multicultural Center
Shakeer Abdullah, director of multicultural affairs at Capital University Law School, has been named director of Auburn University's Multicultural Center. He will begin the position July 1. In his role as director of multicultural affairs, Abdullah facilitates the success of underrepresented groups, with a particular focus on students of color. Currently, Abdullah is the advisor to all student organizations at Capital University Law School and supervises the proctoring of exams. He is involved in the recruitment and counseling of prospective students, and works to enhance the educational experience for all students through diversity and service learning programs.
